They hanged Him on a cross,
the Son of God our Father.
He took all of our sins
so we could live.
Despised by all the people,
hated and abandoned.
There was one man
who knew He was the King:
“I earned my crucifixion,
You are innocent.
Jesus think of me,
when you come to your kingdom.”
“I say to you,
today you’ll be
with Me in Paradise”
Darkness filled the earth,
the veil was torn in two.
Jesus cried out loud,
gave up the ghost.
“Father, into Your hands I commit My spirit”
